This story is notable for being the only use by the original Master of what would become a signature weapon of the character. The Tissue Compression Eliminator is a rather terrifying weapon that shrinks its targets to death, leaving tiny dollike forms behind.

As he does in part one, The Master tends to leave these shrunken forms for The Doctor to find as a sort of calling card.
